The office of continuing professional education offers a variety of lectures that assists the optometrist in keeping informed of the latest scientific and technological advances in the profession.

We offer access to a wide variety of COPE-approved online courses, including the Ethics, Pain Management and cultural competnecy  a requirement for Oregon licensed optometrists.  Benefits of online courses:

  • Take CE courses from any place and at any time
  • Access our expanding library of online CE courses
  • Receive a PDF CE Certificate  
  • Continuing Education Credits are reported to ARBO at the end of each month. 

Education & course content highlights

Highlights from Island Eyes 2024 Conference

We invite speakers who are the foremost authorities in their fields and bring them together for a week-long educational program. Topics will include dry eye/ocular surface disease, oral pharmaceuticals, glaucoma, neuro-optometry, contact lenses,myopia control, and co-management. Earn up to 30 hours of COPE-Accredited Continuing Education
