COURSE DESCRIPTION:

After corneal procedures such as transplant or refractive surgery, the corneal surface may limit visual acuity. This course uses case examples to discuss contact lenses in the management of irregular corneas. This course was recorded at our NW Residents Conference in June 2026.

  • To discuss considerations from clinical data and ancillary testing to select the best contact lens modality for a post-surgical patient
  • To review benefits and drawbacks of soft, hybrid, GP, and scleral contact lenses
  • To discuss considerations to prevent potential physiological complications from contact lens wear
