This course will cover typical and atypical causes of optic neuritis and their clinical presentations. The course will include updated methods for treatment and appropriate management of typical and atypical optic neuritis. This course was recorded at our NW Residents Conference in June 2026.

• To differentiate the clinical presentations of typical and atypical optic neuritis 

• To identify the clinical differences and presentations of antibody-mediated atypical optic neuritis 

• To appreciate the distinct differences of atypical and typical optic neuritis on various diagnostic imaging modalities.
