COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course will highlight recent developments in imaging modalities of the optic nerve, including OCT and OCTA, while reviewing their application in the identification and management of a variety of acquired optic nerve abnormalities. The role of OCT as a diagnostic criteria for multiple sclerosis and new OCT innovations will also be discussed. This course was recorded at our NW Residents Conference in June 2026.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

• Be able to identify optic nerve pathologies on OCT raster scans

• Recognize when to utilize OTC angiography 

• Be able to interpret OCT angiography in the context of optic neuropathies
