COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course will review the characteristics, treatment and management of two helminthic ocular infections that are encountered in the United States, cysticercosis and toxocariasis, with an emphasis on the posterior segment. *This course was recorded at our NW Residents Conference in June 2024

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Participants will comprehend the epidemiology of ocular cysticercosis and toxocariasis, understand transmission routes, recognize signs and symptoms, diagnose both conditions, and apply effective treatment and management strategies.
