Event #130208
Expiration Date:  February 18, 2028

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This interactive course will discuss the most up-to-date treatment options for keratoconus. We will discuss the importance of comprehensive management of keratoconus patients, everything from early diagnosis to corneal crosslinking, refractive surgical options, and optical devices. A focus will be on showing the updates to corneal crosslinking.  *Video was recorded at during our Island Eyes Conference on January 2025.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

• Review the recommended keratoconus treatment protocol focusing on early diagnosis, halting disease progression, and improving visual acuity.
• Discuss the current state of cross-linking by reviewing the FDA approval trials with an evidence-based approach.
• Examine the refractive options to combine with cross-linking for refractive outcomes.
• Compare and contrast epi-on versus epi-off KXL.
