COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course will aim to dive into the visual system of presbyopic patients with acquired brain injury and BVD, with a discussion regarding selecting correction while maintaining the delicate balance between function and performance. This course was recorded at our NW Residents Conference in June 2025

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

• Understanding some of the most common changes in visual function and symptoms in patients with acquired brain injury and BVD.

• Identify the relationship between presbyopic visual correction and the prevention of exacerbation of symptoms.

• Leave with a greater confidence in prescribing and educating patients with acquired brain injury and BVD.
