COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course will provide an update on ophthalmic adverse effects of systemic medications as they relate to the uvea. This course was recorded at our NW Residents Conference in June 2025

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

• Identify 3 classes of systemic medications that have been shown to be definite causes of uveitis.

• Recognize the common manifestations of drug-induced uveitis of the 3 classes of systemic medications discussed.

• Apply the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Guidelines for the management of ocular immune-related adverse effects (irAEs) in patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors.
