COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The goal of this course is to educate eye care professionals about the impact of delayed eye care during the COVID-19 pandemic. This course will be exploring the effects of delayed treatment for vision-threatening ocular conditions.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
• To offer eye care providers insight about the impact of delayed eye care and its impact on visual acuity
• To give eye care providers knowledge on what types of treatments can be delayed and for how long before causing irreversible damage
• To give eye care providers insight on how to manage eye care delays in the event of future pandemics
