COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Overview of the use, implication, and optometric management of the UV light adjusting posterior chamber intraocular lenses.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
  •  Introduce eye health professionals to the newest technology in cataract surgery, the first FDA approved PCIOL that can be adjusted after implantation.
  • Understand when to recommend the UV adjustable PCIOL for patients in a clinical setting as well as providing the proper required post‐operative care.
  • Discuss the post‐operative outcomes of these patients compared to patients receiving traditional cataract surgery.
