COURSE DESCRIPTION:

YAG laser floater treatment (LFT) is explained in detail, with emphasis on the clinical aspects that referring doctors need to know when evaluating their patients with symptomatic floaters. The course includes the history of LFT, how the laser destroys floaters, how the treatment is performed, the patient experience, treatment alternatives, treatment benefits and risks, patient evaluation and selection, review of the published literature, coding information, patient vignettes, and resources for further information.
